Adult Learn to Play Hockey

The adult learn to play hockey program is a nine week course that is designed to teach adults the basics of the great game of ice hockey. This beginner course is the first step to joining one of the many teams that are part of the IBAHL. The course is designed for persons with basic skating skills (i.e. forward & backward skating, crossovers) and with little to no knowledge of hockey skills (i.e. puck-handling, passing, shooting). The course runs in 10 week sessions with the final 2 weeks consisting of scrimmage games against novice level teams from the IBAHL.

    Session 2 - Nov 20th thru Feb 5th (No class 12/25 or 1/1)
    Session 3 - Feb 12th thru Apr 15th
    Session 4 - Apr 22nd thru Jun 24th
    NO Learn to play July and August.

  • Youth Learn to Play Hockey

    The youth learn to play hockey program is run with our house league program. The class is designed for the beginner hockey player with basic skating skills. The Instructional Hockey program is for the child who wants to get started with the great game of ice hockey and learn the basics of the game. From the instructional program children will usually move on to one of the acutal in house leagues which are broken up by age groups.
